Our first day in Dubai

After waiting for a year, we are finally here in Dubai! The girls were excited throughout the plane ride and finally slept at 2am in the morning (malaysian time). We touched down at 248am (dubai time). The weather was pretty warm even in the wee hours in the morning. Thankfully, all went well at the airport - we had the marhaba service - we were greeted at the entrance to the airport and taken care of by a nice lady by the name of Emily (she's from the philippines) all the way through immigration and collection of luggages. Glad we had this service as the queue for normal passengers were extremely long despite the early arrivals in the morning. Also, with almost close to 100kg in luggages, we were relieved that we had porter services too, carrying our bags to the cab. So far, the few hours in Dubai had been a positive one. Both girls are asleep now - it's 8am in the morning dubai time.
