We visited the Lamcy Plaza today for dinner and walked around the grocery store. This mall is located at Al Karama. The grocery store carries many asian packaged goods - so you can find things like Vietnamese Rice Paper, Thai Fish Sauce, Tofu, etc.
There is also a Japanese 6dh shop called "Daiso" - they sell many small items at 6dh per piece. I bought a pair of silicon baking cups which I can use in microwave oven or normal oven to bake muffins.
What I found interesting was this ad for a women's shop in the rotating entrance door.
They placed a mannequin in between the doors and advertised a evening wear. I suppose you can find this in many other countries - this is new to me, but probably not new elsewhere.
